April House, Chief Administrative Officer at San Diego Workforce Partnership since April 2020 serves as the strategic leader of Human Resources, Finance, and Compliance. April’s journey to the Workforce is unique, a nurse by training and an executive in the healthcare sector, she observed how social factors played a critical role in the health and wellbeing of people and communities. She has been in local and national roles at Sharp Healthcare, United Healthcare, and Health Net/Centene leading population health strategy to address these factors. Her prior role was with San Ysidro Health where she served as the Vice President of Population Health and Performance Excellence. It is with this passion for creating linkages across systems to create opportunity and equity for marginalized and underserved populations that April joined the Workforce and desires to serve on the San Diego Community College Foundation Board of Directors.
