LGBTQIA+ MISSION STATEMENT
San Diego City College fosters an environment of diversity and inclusion, which promotes LGBTQIA+ awareness for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, and asexual communities on campus. You will find nurturing and supportive spaces that are free from interference and disruption to higher learning and student life. We champion, equity, allyship, and mutual respect throughout our campus community.

The purpose of this club is to actively engage San Diego City College students in
the fight for LGBTQIA+ equality, through activism, education, and advocacy.

Scholarships
Endowed Student Scholarships-
There are multiple student scholarships available for LGBTQIA+ students and active allies. The San Diego City College Foundation has over 40 scholarship opportunities for students each year. The scholarship cycle opens each year on December 1 and closes the last Sunday of February. Mental Health Resources
San Diego City College provides access to a number of mental health resources for both students and employees. Student resources include free and confidential one-on-one counseling with Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) interns.
