Location: Balboa Park Organ Pavillion
If you are completing your degree and/or certificate requirements by the Spring or Summer 2022 terms, you must Apply to Graduate through your mysdccd portal. (click here to access it). Additional information below in the "Submit a Petition" section.
Important Graduation Deadline Dates 2022

February 15 |
Deadline to file an Application for Graduation for students transferring to a CSU in Fall 2022 who are completing an Associate in Arts for Transfer (AA-T) or an Associate in Science for Transfer (AS-T). |

March 15 |
Deadline to file an Application for Graduation and ensure their name will be included in the commencement program. |
|
April 30 |
Deadline to file an Application for Graduation and be a Spring graduate. Students filing after this date will be Summer graduates. |
2022 Graduation Regalia
Expect your official diploma via U.S. mail within eight weeks after the end of the semester. Diplomas are issued after completion and verification of graduation requirements and sent to name and address on record ( click here refer to San Diego Community College District Catalog “Graduation” for complete information).
Submit a Petition for Graduation:
Apply for Graduation though your mysdccd portal (click here to access it). Under My Academics on the left-hand side of your student portal, click Apply for Graduation. Be sure to click submit at the end!
Students must complete a minimum of 12 degree applicable units at the college granting the associate degree.
