On behalf of the Umoja Community Program, welcome to San Diego City College. At our
core is a deep commitment to equity and social justice by our campus faculty, staff,
and administration, as well as students. The Umoja Community at San Diego City College
offers a series of math, English, and personal growth courses designed to provide
support to our Black student population seeking to transfer to four-year colleges
and universities. Through our Umoja program, you can build community with other students
and faculty, while gaining leadership skills and preparing confidently to complete
your goal, whatever that may be. We hope that you will consider us as you embark upon
your journey at San Diego City College.
